Opportunity
Clinical ink was looking to augment their existing inventory solution with an enhanced method to track the movement of serialized technology equipment from warehouses to multiple clinical trial sites.
They requested to keep their fit-for-purpose technology, and for Ascent to integrate a strengthened frontend that would enable seamless process control. At the same time, Clinical ink wished to further automate tracking processes, with the aim to gain productivity while increasing inventory visibility.
Solution
Mamoon, an Ascent Solutions Certified Implementation Partner, configured Ascent ERP, Ascent Rental and Zenkraft Multi-Carrier Shipping applications, to deliver a tailored solution. This allows Clinical ink a best-in-class method to track serialized equipment, and automate both rental order fulfillment as well as returns processes.
Clinical ink now has superior stock visibility over both their domestic and international warehouses. They receive automated delivery notifications from customer sites, and have increased flexibility for warehouse-to-warehouse equipment transfer, in addition to trial completion equipment return processes.
