  • Now search for ‘Files’, select ‘Libraries’ and click New Library to create the folder to store/access your templates.

  • You must use the name ‘Label Templates’ when creating this new library.
  • All your .zpl label templates should now be uploaded into this library. To make a template, use a preferred ZPL design program and save as a .zpl or .prn file.
  • Now you will need to create/add the “Print Label’ buttons to both the Objects page you want to print labels for and the List View for multiple. To create the ‘Print Label’ button for the page, use the following steps.
    • Go to Setup, Object Manager, and select the object you want to add the button to

    • Go to Setup, Object Manager, and select the object you want to add the button to
    • Click ‘Buttons, Links, and Actions’ and select ‘New Button or Link’
    • Fill out the page to match the below example, and click save.

    • From the Object Manager select ‘List View Button Layout’, then from the drop down Edit, and go to the Custom Buttons Section. Here you will select your new button and use the add arrow to place it on the List View.

  • You are now ready to start printing, Either go to a specific Record or from the List View check which Records you would like to print. Click the ‘Print Label’ button and you will go to the new page below.

  • On this page you will specify the number of labels to be printed, the printer you want to print to, and which template to use. Once this is done select Next.

  • This is your Print Preview screen, here you can gauge how your final labels will look once printed. You can go back to the previous screen to make any changes you need before submitting.

  • Once you are happy with the preview, click ‘Next’ and your printing should begin shortly. There will be a prompt letting you know the print was successful, just select ‘Finish’ to end the process.
