Label Anything Licensing and Permissions Setup

Assigning Ascent Label Anything Licenses:

Log in to your salesforce org with the admin username/password.

  • Click on Setup

  • Using the quick find, type in “Installed packages”

  • Find LabelAnything, and then click Manage Licenses

  • Next, find the person/user who needs access to an AscentERP license and click on add user button

From there, you choose who to give the license to. (The steps are shown in the Lightning view. It will work the same in Classic)

Assigning the Correct Access Permissions for Label Anything to Non-Admin users:

  • Enabled CRM Content by allowing file sharing with libraries 
    • In setup, look search for CRM Content

    • Click The check Boxes for Enable CRM Content and Files user interface allows sharing files with libraries

    • Hit Save
  • Add the standard/Non-admin user as a viewer for the Label Templates library
    • Go To the Files Tab

    • Click Libraries

    • If you haven’t created the Label Anything Library, click “New Library” to create the folder to store/access your templates

      • You must use the name ‘Label Templates’ when creating this new library
      • Click Save
      • Remember: All your .zpl label templates should now be uploaded into this library. To make a template, use a preferred ZPL design program and save as a .zpl or .prn files
    • Select the Arrow at the end of your newly created Library, and select manage members

    • Select the user that needs access to the Library, Select Library Administrator, and click the Add button

You have now successfully finished setting up your Ascent Label Anything user!
