Ascent Label Anything Zebra QR Design

Overview:

This document describes how to set up QR codes for Ascent Label Anything for the Zebra application.

Requirements: these applications and software must be installed for Ascent Label Anything, Zebra Printers, and their processes to work correctly.

Setup:

• Open Z-Designer 
  • Start designing your label following these instructions:
    • Label Anything Zebra Label Design
• Now you can start adding your QR code by selecting the Barcode image

• Bring the Barcode to the Page to place it on the template

• Double-click the barcode to access the editing menu

• Click the General tab
• Select Always use printer element

• Click the Barcode tab

• Use Barcode Type and scroll down until you see QR

• Select QR. Your Barcode will now be displayed as a QR Code 
• Make sure the X dimension is no larger than 0.049 in, or you will not be able to save the template

• Now select Details

• Do Not Change the Symbol Version
• Set Error Correction Level to Q (25% Recovery)
• Set Encoding to Alphanumeric
• Do not change the Code Page

• Click Apply
• Click Source
• Type in the Salesforce Field API name as you would set up any other field in Label Anything. 

You have successfully set up a QR code using Ascent Label Anything!
