IM: Inventory Management

Benefits of using both permissions for a single user

  • When a customer return is processed; the user selects the inventory location where the products are received in IM, the new product inventory will then be available for future orders.
  • Product transaction records will be created on product records in IM. 
  • If the product is a serialized product, serial numbers that are selected will be validated against the available serial numbers before receiving it. 
  • After serials are returned to inventory, the “is in inventory” checkbox will be set to true automatically in IM and will be available for packing future customer orders.
